Optical Intelligence.

GLAZE UI V1.4 — Optical Intelligence is GoreeCloud’s current Stable visual and interaction system. Neutral glass remains the material foundation; adaptive expression is contextual, bounded, and subordinate to meaning, accessibility, performance, and task completion.

Release authority

Stable centrally. Accepted locally.

V1.4.1 is consumer-eligible, but downstream products do not become conformant merely by importing it. Each consumer must preserve exact source anchors and validate its own rendered/native behavior, interaction, accessibility, responsive form factors, performance, rollback, product workflows, and production approval.

Consumer truth stays fail-closed

This website source has been migrated to the V1.3 contract, but this source revision is not represented as production visually accepted until its repository-local acceptance evidence is complete.

V1.3 governing direction

Expression responds. Meaning stays stable.

V1.3 extends the Living Frosted foundation with more adaptive behavior without making appearance the authority for product truth.

Adaptive Expression

Dynamic color, expressive shape, responsive typography, contextual adaptation, and personalization remain bounded by semantic meaning.

Human Ergonomics

Reachability, adaptive navigation, multi-pane composition, large-screen behavior, and posture-aware layouts follow the user’s effective environment.

Living Material 2.0

Material response, depth, optical behavior, and feedback may become richer, but they degrade before readability, focus, correctness, or task completion.

Material and component model

Solid content. Glazed interaction.

Durable reading and consequential decision surfaces remain solid or optically quiet. Transient navigation, command, search, control, and feedback chrome may use neutral Glaze where contrast and context remain clear.

Transform the composition, not just its width.

V1.3 treats mobile, tablet, desktop, foldable, multi-window, and other supported environments as distinct layout conditions. Navigation, panes, information density, controls, and reachability adapt to available space and input method while preserving task continuity.

Compact

Reachable actions, safe-area awareness, single-pane prioritization, and touch-first target sizing.

Medium

Adaptive rails, split composition, larger working regions, and posture-aware transition paths.

Expanded

Persistent navigation, multi-pane information architecture, keyboard/pointer efficiency, and resizable workspace behavior.

Foldable

Hinge and occlusion awareness, live posture continuity, and composition that does not treat an unfolded display as a stretched phone.

Assisted touch

General 48px interaction floor expands to a 56px floor where Touch Assistance or coarse-input needs apply.

Degraded material

Optical effects can fall away while hierarchy, state, focus, controls, and task completion remain intact.

Accessibility precedence

Accessibility outranks expression.

Reduced Transparency, Reduced Motion, Increased Contrast, Forced Colors, RTL, large-text reflow, keyboard, pointer, touch, switch, voice, and assistive-technology semantics remain explicit engineering and consumer-acceptance dimensions. Adaptive color, animation, translucency, or shape must never be the only carrier of state or meaning.

Exact-revision conformance

Importing Stable is not the same as passing acceptance.

Every GoreeCloud consumer must bind its acceptance record to an exact 40-character consumer revision, exact Glaze revision, and design-system version 1.4.1. Branch names, screenshots without source anchors, generic “latest” references, or shared Glaze CI are not sufficient downstream acceptance evidence.
